As a therapist in the past I have worked on Mental Health Units where women who were going through cancer treatments would receive services. I was in my 20's at the time and I don't think I truly grasped the scale of Cancer in all of our lives. This Episode is dedicated to one of my best friends who is "Fighting Like a Girl!" We don't address enough the impact a Breast Cancer Diagnosis has on the loved ones and the support system of someone who is diagnosed. This week for Breast Cancer Awareness month we will talk about healthy ways that you can support someone with this diagnosis. We all want to help but there is right way and a wrong way, we must be aware of this. Wear Pink this month.
